The Raptor spider lift range covers substantially different working envelopes. The 18S, 21S and 24S provide progressively greater height and outreach while sticking to a 230kg basket capacity.
At the upper end of the range, the Raptor 35S provides a significantly larger working envelope, with 35m maximum working height, 21m lateral outreach and a 300kg basket capacity.

Has a working envelope of 20.8m working height and 10.3m lateral outreach, while retaining a 230kg basket capacity and approximately 2.6t GVW. Also features an expandable tracked undercarriage and 380° aerial-section rotation.
Provides 23.8m working height and up to 11m lateral outreach, with a 230kg basket capacity. Includes automatic stabilisation and automatic closing, with the optional Raptor Stab system available to increase ground clearance when negotiating obstacles and slopes.

Working Height
The articulated Raptor range listed by Altequip covers maximum working heights from 18m on the Raptor 18S to 35m on the Raptor 35S. Select the machine according to the working envelope actually required rather than automatically choosing the greatest available height.
Horizontal Outreach
Maximum lateral outreach varies considerably across the range of spider lifts. Outreach is important when the machine cannot be positioned directly beneath the work area or where operators need to reach beyond an obstacle.
Basket Capacity
How many operators do you need in the basket? What tools and materials do they need with them on the job? If you know the answers to those questions you’ll have an understanding of the basket capacity you need.
Site Access and Setup
Before working at heights can begin, your spider lift needs to be able to access and establish a setup position. Access dimensions, terrain, ground conditions and available stabiliser area should all be assessed when selecting a machine. Spoke models use hydraulically expandable tracked undercarriages, while white non-marking tracks provide an option for surfaces where black tracks may leave marks.
